The Sonnenschein A700 batteries has the electrolyte fixed in a gel (dryfit- technology). The gel technology means that they are absolutely maintenance-free, with no topping up with water need throughout the life of the battery. Due to their design construction, they provide extremely high power in the most hostile of temperature environments, and with smallest of installation space needed. In comparison to conventional batteries the expenses needed to provide the correct room conditions can be dramatically reduced. Separate battery rooms are no longer needed.

The production of these extremely durable and longlasting batteries takes place in the most modern facilities .
The manufacturing process includes state of the art automated production with the most stringent of quality control measures to ensure the product is free from any defects during each stage of the manufacturing process.
At the end of the battery's service life, Exide guarantees to take back the old battery for the recycling of all the components.
